Ace Holdings Limited has generously paid an annual tuition of K530,000 for James Kombe, a student at the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST), demonstrating the company's commitment to supporting education and social responsibility. During the cheque presentation, Managing Director MacDonald Chisale announced plans to establish a foundation dedicated to offering scholarships to financially struggling students. This initiative aligns with the company’s core values of corporate social responsibility, having previously supported students at the University of Malawi. Chisale encouraged Kombe to focus on his studies, as academic excellence can attract further support from well-wishers.
Chisale highlighted that the foundation would help more students like Kombe, ensuring they can concentrate on their education rather than worrying about tuition fees. Ace Holdings has been active in supporting education and intends to extend its aid to other students in need at the University of Malawi (Unima).
MUST’s Head of Sports Science, Ivy Chinangwa, praised Ace Holdings for easing Kombe’s financial struggles, which will allow him to focus entirely on his academic pursuits.
